Nice pictures. I have video and slides from 2003 of the southbound Kentucky Cardinal passing that same big tree in your second photo. A friend of mine has the same tree in pictures from before that. I hope that tree likes getting it's picture taken.

Thanks. We were advised to shoot from there by the group at the Falls and I think that gave the vets the chance to spread out and try newer, different, locations while allowing the rookies a scenic and easy shot. A large group chase like this is more enjoyable then being a lone wolf railfan for sure. If CSX takes over that line and traffic increases I'm sure there will be a lot more photos of that tree taken in the future.
