New items to soon be out

Athearn has just announced the NS SD 60 911 engine will be out around July 2018 and the new River Point Station utility trucks will be out around the end of August. Hopefully Athearn will also so a NS Vet unit SD60. The current HO River Point Station trucks can be picked up at a fairly decent price.

Athearn has announced they will release both the Vet and GoRail SD60E's at a later date.
The idea is spreading out the 3 special ones so modelers didn't have to choose which one to get
They are also releasing 3 regular SD60E's

Here are two photographs of Athearn products taken on the exhibit floor of the National Train Show in Orlando on August 5th . . . . one is an artist's drawing of their planned 9-1-1 unit and the other showing several new models; note the SD 60 on the top row.

We need Kato or Atlas to bring the 60E's out in N scale!!

I'd like to see one in O Scale by either Key, or Midwestern Model Works (since Overland is out of O scale)........
