NS on CSX
« on: June 19, 2017, 07:56:04 PM »
Yes, I am a die hard NS fan... but I do ejoy "that other railroad" aka CSX. Sometimes, they even mix together! Case in point, I shot SN power leading a CSX auto rack freight last weekend.

Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

That West Shore line that cuts off of Track #2 (right) eastbound looks pretty sharp from ground level.  Overhead, it isn't that tight (I see).

The curve looks sharper than it really is because I zoomed in with my camera. CSX has a speed limit of 45 mph there, so it's not a bottleneck for them.
