NW RP-G4 slugs

I have been trying to track down pictures of NW RP-G4 slugs rebuilt from U30B's and also mated to U30B's. Did they retain their carbodys or was the hood cut down? Were they used in road or yard service?

They retained their full carbody.  The units were used in yard service. Here is a link to NW 9700:
