With the national news from Florida last night, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey circus will end their 140+ year run in May 2017.  https://www.ringling.com/

No more circus trains on the N.S. line behind my house (or anywhere else, obviously).

Evidently these photos from Sept. 9, 2013 will be my last images.  The five pics were taken by the Beech Grove cemetery and White River Bridge in Muncie, IN.  The train was headed west on the Frankfort line, probably headed for St. Louis or Kansas City.  I remember it was hot and breezy that afternoon, and the hazy sun didn't help from a photography standpoint.

In order, the power on the front end . . . followed by the endless # of circus cars, then waving at the circus crew members (always fun), the variety of road vehicles and trailers on the end of the train, and my final photograph of the "circus loaded" vehicles on the end of the train.
