Spending the day with 2 "Southern" RRs

I headed out to the greater Buffalo area last weekend, and spent much of my time there with 2 great RRs- Norfolk Southern and the Buffalo Southern.

I chased the Buffalo Southern RR for about 13 miles. i finally stopped at BSOR's HQ in Eden, which is in an old Erie RR/EL station:



This spur on the side of Depot Street in Eden looked active:




BSOR #5010 and a couple hoppers pass the semaphore behind the depot in Eden:



Lo and behold, BSOR did put the hoppers on the spur. I'd never seen them switch here before.

i wrapped up the day the town beach, and enjoyed looking north at Buffalo's skyline at sunset:
