Earlier this week the Piedmont Division "Norcross District" Greenville South End dispatcher was heard over the scanner advising a south bound train that they no longer controlled CP Chamblee. The crew was told that the Inman dispatcher would need to be contacted. Previously the Inman dispatch controlled from Armor (MP 632.5) south into Inman Yard.
The change to CP Ray (MP 621.0) adds an additional 11.5 miles of double track and three CP cross-overs to the Inman dispatchers coverage area. The Inman dispatcher communicates on AAR 42 42  160.740.
