February 2016 Contest
« on: February 15, 2016, 04:33:22 PM »
It seems winter has paid a visit to just about everyone this year, so why not go with snow shots for this month's contest.

All of the usual rules apply, and we will be accepting entries until March 4th since this is a short month.

Best of luck to all and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Entry #1: this train no longer runs. Mixed freight 38T was a joint NS/CP operation. In this case, I caught it at MP 389 on the Southern Tier Mainline during a heavy lake effect snow squall:

Got questions? I can help you with the Erie Lackawanna (including predecessors), Lehigh Valley, Delaware & Hudson and the shortlines of upstate NY.

In more pleasant weather, NS 287 rounds the curve at MP 385.86 on the Southern Tier Mainline:

NS V17 heads west in last years snow, one of the few occasions I've managed to get an entire train in one shot.
