If you have automatic updates turned on and you're running Windows 7 or 8.1, MS updated your PC on the 12th. One of the updates affected ATCS Monitor. If you know updates were applied and you see a train doing a double cross over near Georgetown and other strange things, the problem is caused by a security update. There are many messages about this problem in the Yahoo ATCS Group. One user uninstalled a group of the updates and that fixed the errors.
I uninstalled one of the updates in his group, KB3006226, and my ATCS Monitor is now functioning properly. To uninstall KB3006226, click on Start (Win 7) or the MS icon in the left bottom corner of the desktop pane of 8.1, and start the Control Panel. Click on Programs, then Programs and Features (Uninstall or Change a Program). In the column on the top left you'll see View Installed Updates. Click on that and wait for your PC to populate the update list. Scroll down toward the bottom under Microsoft Windows, look for ones dated when your last updates were applied, and highlight KB3006226. Then click uninstall at the top. Your PC will have to be restarted for the uninstall to be completed.
This problem may be on other versions of Windows after XP, which have been updated. I hope this one uninstall works for you.
