NS I20 (DALLAS, TX (KCS IDAAT)- ATLANTA, GA) extra 220 with two KCS Southern Belle units tied down on the siding at Lithia Springs Georgia MP653.1 as the early morning sun rises.


NS 226 (LOS ANGELES, CA (UP ZLCAI) - ATLANTA, GA) UP 7318 leads five trailing NS units 8714, 8342, 2750, 6709 & 9232 east bound on the main line just west of CP Winston Georgia MP664.5


NS226 east bound at the west Douglasville curves.


Tuesday October 21
NS 733 heads west into the east end of the 6,520ft siding at Baggett MP668.5 with UP 5781 & 6457 leading the120 coal hoppers with DPU UP 5711 at the rear. NS will send empty Powder River coal drags from Plant Scherer back west over the Birmingham East End District rather than north to Chattanooga when congestion or crew availability conditions exist on the Atlanta North District.


NS I2G (LONG BEACH, CA (UP KLBNS) - ATL, GA) heads east on the mainline Villa Rica Georgia with a single UP 7934 leading this Whitaker Yard bound stack train while NS733 holds the siding. This Long Beach CA stack as a rule operates with a single unit on each end of the train. It will continue east to the siding at Lithia Springs as Whitaker Yard will take NS 226 first.


NS I2G DPU UP 8518


NS 226 (LOS ANGELES, CA (UP ZLCAI) - ATLANTA, GA) with UP 8090 leading this stack train east into Villa Rica Georgia on the main line as NS733 continues to hold the siding.


A25 lite engines head east through Villa Rica after setting out empty cars on the Bremen storage tracks.
