Started another project .... This makes 10 on the bench!
1633 has some unique qualities about it ...1 is the GP7/9 style dynamic brake fan . 2 all the remote control goodies crowding the roof of the cab .3 triple clasp trucks (not really unique to former N&W SDs)
So here are a few pics of the build so far !!!

High hood in place

Work on the side frames (robbed some older 4 axle of theirs for the brackets)

Added the fans to the dynamic area

Home made drop step and ditchlight brackets

Needed to replace the radiator grills with the "chicken wire" grills

And here are the roof pics (the R/C platforms are scratch built ... Just needs the beacons added and that'll finish them up

That's all for now ! Adding the radiator fans and tank details then need to order the rest of the parts needed ....more to come
Thanks Eric

Nice I love my stock of high hoods. They just show power .

Always loved them ... Not quite sure why I don't have more on my roster LOL

Looks great... How are ya putting the brake clasps on the center axle...?

Thanks .... I used the center brake shoes of athearn F unit side frames .... Had to be careful cutting them cause the little brackets would easily break off

Here's a over head shot of the roof top details ! I must say I like the Cannon and Co. Fans !

Glad to hear you are still working on your railroad models. I look forward to seeing pics of your projects.

Got a lot done on this old girl heres a few pics to catch ya up on !

Got the front end decked out

Noticed on the prototype that the pilot ends extend out further than standard 40-2s
So some styrene fixed that right up

Heres a few over all pics so far ...
