Its hard to believe that its mid May already. This year is flying by. This months theme is Special moves. For this contest we will consider a special move anything like an ocs, circus train, or any other non-normal move. Think 900 series symbols. We will take entries until June 2 and then vote starting the 3rd. Alk regular rules apply.

For my first entry in a photo contest on Jreb.org, and first post at all for that matter, I've chosen two photos that depict movement of special movements :)

First shot: A pan of NKP 765 rushing through Attica, OH with an NS employee appreciation trip on 7/21/12.
Second shot: Pacing the Derby train along Route 25 in Richwood, KY on its way back from Louisville on 5/4/08.

Back after an extended hiatus, the first shot is of 986 which was a move of Loram equipment as it slowed to do Box 9 at Boyd. The second is from last July at the start of the Knoxville excursions with SOU 630. 958 has arrived from Bristol, passengers have de-trained, and now the crew is preparing to remove 1065 and return it as 968 to Sevier into active freight service.

NSMoWandS

Here is 926 gingerly crossing over 23rd Street interlocking in Chattanooga, TN while doing some spot dropping of ballast across the interlocking. Dan

NSMoWandS

Here is 982, an empty Herzog ballast train crusing through Bluefield Yard in Bluefield, WV. Dan
