Just a heads up... Atlas will be making a new batch of C40-8W's in Conrail paint, and NS patched Conrail paint in HO scale.

Never had a Atlas. I have a bunch of old blue box athearn and the newer athearn. I just got two Kato engines and thought I died and went to Heaven. How do these Atlas engines run?

I just dry brush a little rust colored powder mixed with a flat varnish that gives it a crusty look

Already ordered two... one Conrail... one Conrail patched. First rule of Government spending... Why build one when you can have two at twice the price!

Shouldn't be to bad just need a drawing or a really good straight from behind shot and some styrene sheets and it could be done in a hour or less! Id trim it up square first get some scale measurements and the just fill in the areas affected or just go by the front porch its practically the same dimensions

Well, after painting it black, and attaching a plow, and then weathering it... I doubt if anyone will notice. Ah... the beauty of dirt!
